8.2.1

Modified on Thu, 19 Sep at 2:45 PM

Release date

  • August 9th, 2024

Minor features

  • You can now configure the database settings via JVM parameters as well. May be useful when running formcycle as a docker container.
  • New JavaScript utility method $.xutil.appointmentPicker.get.slotStartDate for the appointment picker that lets you access the start date of the currently selected slot as a JavaScript date object. However, as mentioned in the documentation, we recommend that you use $.xutil.appointmentPicker.get.slot instead. JavaScript date objects depend on the local time zone of the user's browser, which may result in unexpected behavior or bugs that are hard to reproduce.

Fixes

  • Fix an issue with the database update when using Oracle DB.
  • For a few resources on backend pages, the old version from before the formcycle update got used for a brief period of time due to the browser's cache. This has been fixed, so that the new resources are loaded immediately after a formcycle update.
  • For checkbox form field that had a help text configured, their label position set to right and also had some validation rule enabled, the error message when the field failed to validate was shown next to the checkbox. The message is now correctly shown below the checkbox.
  • Changes made to the global closing times of an appointment picker template within the designer menu are now saved correctly.
