Minor features

Workflow-Designer

• The Fill Word document action now allows you to select RTF documents (Rich Text Format).
• The HTTP request action now provides access to the HTTP response headers as well. You can access them using placeholders.
• The email action now provides the contents of the sent email as an EML file (RFC 822). You can attach this file to the form record or select it in following workflow actions.

Form designer

• A new data type for traditional email addresses has been added. It allows only numbers, letters, and some punctuation marks.
• You can now enable or disable the More Languages option directly in the language selector at the bottom.

Backend

• In the Word-Fill function for URLs, you can now optionally specify the display text.
  For example: tfLink.url("Click here")
• You can now also filter by tags in the plugin store.
• System plugins in the plugin store on the plugin page of a client are now displayed as installed. Additionally, you can now view the installation location of the plugin.
• Added a new role permission that lets you controls whether a user can override a system plugin by installing a client plugin.
• In the inbox, it is now possible to delete only the deletable items when multiple items are selected. Previously, the delete button was disabled if a non-deletable item was selected.
• In the inbox, it is now possible to delete only the deletable form records when multiple form records are selected. Previously, the delete button was disabled if a non-deletable form record was selected.
• You can now view both the professional and technical contact person in the license information.

Web forms

• The new formcycle logo is now also used for the loading animation of web forms.

Workflow designer

• The HTTP request action now extracts the file name from the Content-Disposition header, if available, or from the request URL otherwise. In additional, you can now also enter a custom file name. The file name is used when you select the HTTP request action as a file source for another workflow action. 

Backend

• When you upload a file as the new content for a client or form file, the new content is now saved immediately without having to press the save button.

Fixes

Web forms

• Elements arranged side by side in a repeated container will now always be displayed correctly next to each other.
• A bug with repeated elements and a repetition trigger has been fixed that occurred when the repetition trigger was cleared by a condition such as hidden-if. The number of repetitions now always matches the value in the repetition trigger.

Form designer

• A layout issue with the invisible container has been resolved when elements were moved out of the container.

Workflow designer

• If an HTTP request action in the workflow returns a binary file, the content is now correctly written to a file and can be used accordingly. Previously, there was an issue where the binary data could be altered depending on the selected response character set.

Login services

• The Entity-ID of a SAML 2 login service can now be determined dynamically againwhen no entity ID is configured for the login service.
  • Note: For compatibility reasons, dynamic entity IDs are still supported. However, the entity ID should always be entered in the login service configuration and is now a required field for new configurations.
• You can now specify additional server URLs when generating the metadata for a SAML 2 login service.
• The download button for the IDP metadata of a SAML 2 login service is no longer displayed when no metadata was uploaded.
• LDAP login filter use the correct base DN.

Backend

• The login service Kerberos and the menu entry frontend server are no longer if the license does not allow it.
• The "Stay logged in" feature now works correctly again when logging in with a password or with an LDAP account.
• Additional invitations to a client can be accepted.
• In the user list, users with the same names are now always displayed in the same order.
• If formcycle is configured not to require client invitations and user search is enabled, existing users will be added to the client directly when invited.

• Various bug fixes when using the Oracle and SQL Server database systems.

  • Users can once again be deleted from the system at any time.

For plugin developers

• The new interface method de.xima.fc.plugin.interfaces.auth.IPluginAuthenticatorType#getIcon allows you to specify a custom icon for the UI for your plugin login service (IPluginAuthenticatorType). By default, a generic puzzle piece icon is used.
